Dr. Louw Vervey

Louw graduated from Tshwane University of Technology with a National Diploma in Veterinary Technology in 2009. He completed his in-service training at a veterinary diagnostic laboratory in Johannesburg with special interest in microbiology.

While continuing working in the laboratory field, he furthered his studies and completed a BSc Animal Science degree at the University of Pretoria in 2013, followed by a BVSc Veterinary degree in 2018.

After graduating he completed his compulsory community service in Mokopane, Limpopo where he worked in a veterinary state laboratory overseeing mainly microbiology, serology and parasitology as well as post mortem evaluations and farm visits in and around the Waterberg district.

Louw first joined C4 Africa in January 2020 due to his interests in veterinary diagnostic, especially in intensive animal production. He is an analytical problem solver and a firm believer of prevention is better than cure.

In the interest of expanding his business acumen and skills, Louw left C4 Africa to join the corporate world.

He re-joined C4 Africa in 2023 as a senior veterinary consultant. His previous consulting experience, new found business knowledge and passion for the industry make him an asset to the C4 Africa team.
