Denice Petlele graduated from the Tshwane University of Technology in 2009 with a National Diploma in Veterinary Technology.
Her experiential training took place at the University of Pretoria’s Biomedical Research centre in 2009. Denice’s career started at the University of Pretoria working at the ARC-OVI virology laboratory from 2011 to 2013. Here she honed her skills in serology with a particular emphasis on Elisa.
Denice joined IDL in 2013 and was solely responsible for the set up our IDL serology (Elisa) department. She developed IDL’s quality management system and has been instrumental in IDL achieving SANAS ISO17025:2005 accreditation and DAFF approval.
Denice heads up training and quality assurance for our satellite laboratories and her unrivalled knowledge and skills in serology and bacteriology make her an asset to the company.
As IDL’s head veterinary technologist, Quality and Technical Manager as well as Technical signatory on all testing, Denice ensures the successful daily running of IDL.
